Good questions
What does setup include?
For the one-off $250 we build and check your first templates with you, deploy the add-in to your Microsoft 365 tenant (everyone, or a pilot team first), and walk your admins through the admin center.
Do I need to be a Microsoft 365 admin?
To deploy the add-in, yes: a Microsoft 365 admin uploads one manifest file in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Everything else, including building templates and adding people, is done in the MailTemplates admin center by whoever you make an admin. If you are not a Microsoft 365 admin, we can work with yours.
Is a payment method required for the trial?
No. The 14-day free trial needs no card.
Can you set MailTemplates up inside our own tenant?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Choose a managed setup, where we configure your Microsoft 365 tenant for you, or a dedicated deployment into your own Azure subscription. Contact us for a quote.
What counts as a user, and is there a minimum?
A user is anyone with an active MailTemplates account. Disabled accounts are not billed. There is a minimum of 2 users.
Is the price including GST?
No. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export your templates at any time. After you cancel, your data is deleted 30 days later.
Does it work in the new Outlook?
Yes. MailTemplates is a modern Office add‑in, so it runs in new Outlook, Outlook on the web and Outlook for Windows and Mac.
How do I get it onto everyone’s Outlook?
Your Microsoft 365 admin uploads one manifest file in the admin center and assigns it. Your admin center has step‑by‑step instructions.
Where is our data kept?
Templates and accounts are stored in Microsoft Azure and separated per organisation. Ask us about data location for your requirements.
